This is our most comprehensive package and offers unlimited feedback on all required essays. I will guide students from inception through the final draft of the Personal Statement, short-answer activity, and Secondary Essays (a maximum of 10 Secondaries). Includes three meetings/ brainstorming sessions in person or via Zoom.

If you are pretty confident in your content but not your craft, this package offers professional feedback on unlimited drafts of the Primary Application and Activities essays. 's a quick, inexpensive way to polish your prose and improve your application. Make your 5,300 characters count!

Medical Essay Rx
Need an essay review stat? Whether you need an expert to review your Personal Statement or you are scrambling to write and submit your Secondaries (rolling admissions means submitting early is key!), Essay Rx can help you polish and perfect your essays.
Fees:

Activities/Impactful Experiences: $300
Secondaries: $500 to $900 per school (depending on the number of words/characters); volume discounts are available.

About Michele
When I attended the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, my new husband was a medical resident working 100+ hours a week (we were married 10 days after he graduated from Cornell University Medical College).
After graduating J-School, I took a job as a junior editor at American Health magazine (a Reader’s Digest publication) and went on to work as a medical reporter for many years. A decade ago, I launched A Bloc of Writers, a college essay tutoring business based in Greenwich, Conn. My team and I have reviewed thousands of college application essays and helped hundreds of students gain admittance to some of the country’s most competitive colleges.
Now, I have decided to combine my personal and professional connection with the medical field to help aspiring physicians navigate the complex and competitive medical school admissions process. If you hire me, you work directly with me — I am the only person on my team of five tutors who does this work — and I never farm out work to inexperienced tutors as many companies do.
